Dog in praise of God in praise of Dog

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERADogs are the embodiment of unconditional love.

The love for their master and the love for being a dog are apparent when you look in their eyes.

The unconditional love of a dog knows no bounds (by definition) so that they will give all they have and receive all they can as well. The unconditional love extends to loving being in a body: eating, pooping, running, cuddling and sleeping. All these activities are the highest praise for being alive in a body.

Eating is praise for the taste of life, and taking in all life has to offer no matter what flavor. It is becoming one with the part of life that is nourishing.

Pooping is collecting everything we are done with and getting rid of it in a timely manner. This is also done with pleasure and praise.

Running is the praise of the earth beneath the feet, connection with the vitality of the planet and delight in being able to move along it. Running is praise of energy, of vitality and the value of movement.

Cuddling is the praise of companions and their warm bodies as they are close by in space. Cuddling is the promise of interdependence and mutual support for the expansion of All That Is.

Sleeping is the praise of resting in the All That Is, resting in our True Nature, resting as contrasted to movement. Sleeping is divine: divine presence but not knowing it, yet still basking in it for renewal and repair. Sleeping is praise for balance after a day well lived with an abundance of unconditional love.

All these are aspects of the praise of a dog for life. The unconditional love is life itself. And life in a body is praise for the All-Expansive nature of life.

After all, “dog” has all the ingredients and letters to make “god.” Dog praises god and god praises dog. It is a mutual admiration society.

The simplicity of this is a pleasure to embody so why not be a dog? Well, why not be any fish, fowl or animal on this earth? We all participate in the mutual admiration society even if we are not totally conscious of it.

Dog, and sometimes human, can be aware of being unconditional love. That is an example and inspiration for all others whether human, animal, fowl or fish.

This was written by my “Author Within” during 10 minutes in an exercise. It is following a protocol of Tom Bird like in his weekend retreat “Write a Bestseller in a Weekend.” The idea is by getting the conscious mind out of the way, you can write really fast from the “Author Within.”

You can download directions and a subliminal audio track on his website TomBird.com.
