Mauna Loa, a volcano, is known as the long mountain. It and its neighbors have spawned a lot of the other Hawaiian islands. Its lava runs to the sea, spilling in constantly and creating new land.

Volcano National Park contains a lot of the volcano. However, sometimes it flows over neighborhoods and destroys them. You can walk faster than the slow moving lava can flow, but it burns up trees and houses in its path.
