• Avoid problems and conflicts out of fear of failure?
  • Or welcome challenges as opportunities to learn?

That’s the fundamental difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset.

This video illustrates it beautifully.

To foster a growth mindset:

  • celebrate effort regardless of the results
  • develop new skills you are interested in
  • develop the skill of learning
  • take feedback as an assessment of one activity instead of taking it personally
  • celebrate the achievements of others because you grow from that too
  • persist in solving problems despite obstacles
  • be willing to fail better next time

Let go of that fear of failure! You are probably your worst judge. You have the power to stop that judgement which stops you from starting something to begin with.

Life becomes an adventure with growth mindset.

In which areas of your life can you adopt more of a growth mindset?
