The Nature of Healing
I resonate with what Charlie says about healing, specifically energy healing: “No matter what your belief system, this is a natural thing available to us.”
Without fighting what is, without making what you are feeling something wrong, emotional healing can also lead to physical healing. And to heal emotionally, he shows that we need to embrace the emotions we have disowned in order to fully feel. In this context, feelings are never too overwhelming and welcoming them back results in a lightness of freer being.
This is all explained in his book Human Medicine: The Lost Manual for Your Emotions. I have a copy of this book and it is very close to how I approach the mind-body connection in healing.
